Unwrap... My FAVORITE part,,, next to shaving my head with a cheese grater.... well... its not that bad,,, but you get the point. Started the unwrap tonight and got halfway through the skin portion of this model.
The attached picture shows three things,,, Mainly because I didn't want to use blogger to attach and arrange three separate pictures.... Anyways
1: (top left) Yellow shows what has been unwrapped, Black shows what isn't unwrapped (more or less )
2: (Middle) Unwrap of the 'face' (eyes shown)
3: (Bottom Left) I re-shaped the bumps on the tentacles slightly. This new more defined shape makes the unwrap process so much quicker and just as accurate. Note to self: Overlapping polygons are friends with triangles; and I've been told not to hang with that crowd.
